Provenance Production of OECD health data is by contribution from national health data correspondents (i.e. for Ireland the Department of Health) and health accounts experts (for Ireland the CSO) in the OECD member states. In addition to above, data is transmitted annually to Eurostat, OECD and the WHO by means of the ‘Joint Data Collection on non-Monetary Health Care Statistics’. This joint data collection is a harmonised approach developed by Eurostat, OECD and WHO in order to reduce the data collection burden on countries.
